What is memorian’s journal?
memorian’s journal is an app for capturing “this moment” in a few words. Your memos are grouped by the hour so you can look back on how a day unfolded. There is no pressure and no reminders — just a friction-free way to leave a trace of the present.
Can I record a memo for a past time?
No. The app is built around capturing the current moment, so you can only record for the time it is now — you cannot backdate an entry or change its timestamp. You can still edit the text of an older memo; only its time is fixed.
Are there reminders or push notifications?
No, and that is by design. memorian never nudges you. It is there when you want to jot something down and stays quiet otherwise.
Where are my memos stored? Do you collect them?
Your memos are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers. The only exceptions are voice input and the contact form, which are explained in our Privacy Policy.
How does voice input work?
Voice memos use your device’s built-in speech recognition (Apple on iOS, Google on Android) to turn speech into text. The audio itself is not stored by the app — only the resulting text is saved on your device.
Is there a home screen widget?
Yes. Quick-action widgets for text and voice let you jump straight to the recording screen from your home screen. Touch and hold your home screen, tap the add (+) button, search for memorian, and choose the widget you want.
Which devices and OS versions are supported?
memorian’s journal is currently available on iPhone running iOS 17 or later. Android and a web version are planned for the future.
Does the app cost anything?
The app is currently free. We may introduce optional paid features in the future; if we do, we will explain the details and conditions in advance.
What happens when I change time zones?
Each memo remembers the time-zone offset it was recorded at, and display and grouping follow that original offset. If it differs from your device’s current offset, a small badge shows the original offset next to the timestamp.
How do I delete my memos?
You can delete any memo at any time within the app. Uninstalling the app erases all of your memos from the device.

過去の時間帯にメモを記録できますか？
いいえ。本アプリは「今この瞬間」を記録するという考え方で作られているため、記録できるのは常に現在時刻だけです。過去にさかのぼって記録したり、タイムスタンプを変更したりはできません。過去メモの本文は編集できますが、時刻は固定されます。
通知やリマインダーは来ますか？
ありません（意図的な仕様です）。memorian から通知でせかすことはありません。書き留めたいときにそこにあり、それ以外は静かにしています。
メモはどこに保存されますか？運営者は収集しますか？
メモは端末内にのみ保存され、運営者のサーバーへ送信されることはありません。例外は音声入力とお問い合わせフォームで、詳細はプライバシーポリシーに記載しています。
音声入力はどう動きますか？
音声メモは端末に内蔵された音声認識（iOS は Apple、Android は Google）を使って音声を文字に変換します。音声そのものはアプリに保存されず、変換後のテキストのみが端末内に保存されます。
ホームウィジェットはどうやって置きますか？
テキスト用・音声用のクイックアクションウィジェットから、記録画面へ直接移動できます。ホーム画面を長押しし、追加（＋）ボタンをタップ、memorian を検索して、置きたいウィジェットを選んでください。
対応している端末・OSバージョンは？
memorian’s journal は現在、iOS 17 以降の iPhone に対応しています。Android 版と Web 版は今後の対応を予定しています。
料金はかかりますか？
現在は無料で提供しています。将来的に任意の有料機能を導入する可能性があり、その場合は事前に内容と条件をお知らせします。
タイムゾーンをまたいで移動するとどうなりますか？
各メモは記録時のタイムゾーンオフセットを保持し、表示・グループ化はその記録時オフセットに従います。現在の端末オフセットと異なる場合は、タイムスタンプの横に元のオフセットを示す小さなバッジが表示されます。
メモを削除するには？
アプリ内でいつでも任意のメモを削除できます。アプリをアンインストールすると、端末内のメモはすべて消去されます。
